We generate funds through event registration, individual and team fundraising efforts, corporate sponsorships, and generous donations from our supporters. These contributions help provide financial relief for treatment, medical expenses, and support services for those in need.

At Battle of the Breasts, every dollar of profit that is raised goes directly toward supporting local women—mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends—who are currently fighting breast cancer. The money stays within our community, providing real, tangible support to those who need it most.
Unlike large corporations that claim to be searching for a cure, our funds don’t disappear into administrative costs or research organizations. Instead, they go straight to real women, real warriors—helping them cover medical bills, treatment expenses, and the everyday costs that come with battling this disease.

In November 2024, my life changed forever. I was diagnosed with Triple Positive Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. At the stage and type of cancer it was, it meant the trajectory of my treatment was going to be 3 years. Not only was I completely stressed out as a single mother with a small grandbaby I had just been blessed with who now would be needing to focus on a treatment plan and surviving, but equally important, how was I going to ever survive this financial burden? My life had become like the Earth spinning on an uncontrollable axis and I was helpless to try and stop it, or even slow it down!
The day of the fundraiser for Battle of the Breast, I was absolutely blown away by so many things. From the amazing athletes and all the people from the community that had gathered together in support, to the individuals that had donated their own time and financial resources toward this organization.
When I was presented with the check I was in absolute shock. My family that had come to support me began to cry in appreciation and disbelief, and I myself had to hold back the emotion that threatened to overwhelm me. When I got in to my car to leave that day, I let out a huge sigh and felt that a heavy, unbearable weight had been lifted from my shoulders, and I was once again able to take a deep breath. By the following Tuesday I had paid off all of my medical bills and was able to look to the future with not worry , doubt and fear, but with a renewed sense of hope for what was to come.
Battle of the Breast changed my life and I will forever be grateful for this amazing experience.
